12:00 am	Sri Krishna Jayanthi Sri Krishna Janmashtami also known as Gokulashtami or Krishna Jayanthi, Sri Jayanthi is the annual celebration of birth of Hindu deity Lord Krishna - eighth Avatar of Vishnu. Chinmaya Vrindavan (home to Lord Sri Radhakrishna) will be performing Maha Sudarshana and Dhanvantri Homam for 8 days at the ashram from Aug 21st to Aug 28th. Aug 21st-Aug 28th 6:30pm: Maha Sudarshana Homam for removal of obstacles and Dhanvantri homam for health From Aug 21-Aug 29, all abhishekams will be performed in the morning due to special Sudarshana homam event Aug 29th 6:00pm Sri Radhakrishna Abhishekam followed by Vishnu Sahasranama Archana Sponsorship Details: Maha Sudarshana Homam - $201 (for all 8 days) and sponsors will be given a silver coin Abhishekam and Archana -$31 (on Aug 29th) Archana only - $11 (on Aug 29th) Registration Link: Sri Krishna Jayanthi
12:00 am	Yajur Upakarma & Gayathri Japam (Aug 21 & Aug 22) Yajur Veda Upakarma is on Aug 21 (Sat) & Gayathri Japa Homam is on Aug 22 (Sun). Due to COVID situation, participation will be by registration only. There is a maximum limit of 50 participants for each batch due to ensure enough spacing. Aug 21(Sat): Yajur Veda Upakarma: (registration link) Event Schedule: Batch 1 (In-person and Zoom)- 07:00am: Yajur veda upakarma first batch (no homam). Please arrive by 06:45am. First batch will end around 8:15am. Batch 2 (In-person with Homam)- 09:00am: Yajur veda upakarma second batch (with homam). First/Thalai avani avittam attendees, please arrive by 08:45 am for the 09:00 am batch Participants to bring Panchapatram, plate, 2 bottles of water. Fruits, Rice etc will not be accepted.
